Setting Goals

So, this is the time of year I start thinking about my goals for next year.  Only, this year my FB account was hacked twice in the past 2 months.  So, first thing I'm doing, and right now, not after the first of the year, is changing out all my passwords for every account that has a password -- and just about everyone wants you to have a password to access it.  So, I've started with the major things - credit cards, insurance, etc.  And while I'm doing that, I'm cleaning out the stuff that is no longer relative - things I don't bother with or access at all any more.

I'm also finding that some places I have not written down the password that I changed at some point, so I have to keep trying to find all those and hit "change password" a lot!  And, one really annoying one is my insurance company - every time I try to access my account - they tell me I'm locked out, have to call the number, do that and change my password and next time, I'm locked out again.   We will be having a real time conversation at that site soon!

I do have some major goals for next year, that I hopefully will be starting after Christmas:  Cleaning out closets.  I will be starting in this office which is at one end of the house.  First I need to clean out the file cabinets - normal year-end stuff while I get my tax stuff together- which should pretty much be together anyway since I file everything during the year into a tax file.  Then, I have a closet in this room that has shelves in it that contain office supplies and a whole bunch of other stuff that for whatever reason, I dump in that closet! 😉

I'm hoping by the end of January to have the office  cleaned out and the laundry room (adjacent) closet cleaned out also - just full of mops and stuff!

And then, I'll decide what room to work on in February!

Until next time....blessings.

That's a great idea, changing all the passwords. Especially since I tend to use the same ones for everything. I'll be making my lists of things to do in the new year as well. I'll be retiring in January and should have much more time then. Maybe I'll even unpack the boxes from moving two years ago!
