Finally got my grandson's quilt together today. Pieced the backing and made the binding too. So, as soon as I get the quilt on the longarm quilted, I will load AJ's quilt and get it quilted. It's for his graduation from high school in June, but I don't like leaving things to the last minute. It's far from perfect, but I think he'll like it. He's a volleyball player and is right now trying out for different colleges and fielding offers from them.
The pic of him serving is actually in the middle of the quilt -- 7 blocks wide, 9 blocks long! I have a pic of his awards from this season that I will put on the back when I make the label for it.
And now, it's time to relax!
