I finished piecing the last 20 blocks today, put them on the wall and table and have started piecing the rows together. Actually had enough thread left on the cone to just finish the last blocks before I had to change out the thread! These are all red blocks - must be the color on my computer that makes them look a bit brown. I'm really enjoying using up my stash fabrics and piecing these easy quilts.
My youngest two grandsons are doing a good job taking care of their mom who had hip replacement surgery on Tuesday. They check in to make sure she's okay before they head to school and again when they get home. The oldest grandson and their dad are in St. Louis at a volleyball tournament and yesterday he made a video of his play -- apparently there are college coaches there checking the boys out! AJ is just a junior, but he is definitely hoping for a college scholarship to play volleyball, so praying for his chances.
