I still have the placemats waiting on the longarm, but just didn't feel like starting them. So, today I pieced together 8 rows of another plaid quilt for the homeless. The ninth row is pieced, but I need 8 more rows to finish the quilt, so I'll put more blocks up with the ninth row on top (to avoid putting two of the same together!).
I had a colonoscopy on Tuesday and still haven't recovered. Apparently he had trouble because I have scar tissue, so he wants me to reschedule in 3 weeks at the hospital - in case he perforates the colon accidentally. And today I decided that isn't going to happen. It's taken me all week to feel somewhat better and I'm not going thru it again.
So, having said that, I've been doing a lot of thinking while I was piecing today. I need to change some things around here - make some different priorities. I have at least 10 hand applique projects that are started and a few that I want to start. Some of those I've started I don't want to finish -- so I'm going to toss them. I will rethink the ones I want to start also. I have a whole lot of piecing projects that I haven't started and that includes a ton of quilts for the homeless. I will make the homeless quilts a priority, but I also want to piece a couple of quilt kits I have that I will give as gifts.
I have a year's worth or more of Skill Builder projects that haven't been started and a couple of All-In-One quilts from Joyce Lundrigan that are waiting in the wings too - I will rethink those also.
Basically, its time to start cleaning out more stuff from the sewing room.
Until next time....blessings.

So sorry that the colonoscopy was rough for you. I've only had one so far and am not looking forward to the next one. "Golytely" is such a misnomer for that cleanse!
I love your plaid quilt and look forward to seeing what else you make.
Have a great week!
