Today was beautiful here in southern Wisconsin. I finally got out to weed in the back flower bed. Hopefully it'll stay that way til spring! 😄
I've been working on this shawl probably at least a year. I've ripped it all out and started over 3 times. I have finally reached the point that I ripped out last! I am not a fast knitter, or an accomplished knitter. And for awhile, I couldn't knit for very long at a time because my hands hurt, but finally I'm making progress. I have decided to knit for an hour a day (more or less - I average 5 or 6 days a week anyway). I can knit two rows of the pattern in an hour! But, I'm a little faster when I just have knit/purl. Anyway, I hope to finish it by cool fall weather.
I also decided I wasn't getting a lot of applique done when I only do it at applique club, so now I also try to do a little applique every day. Today I prepped a few more pieces. Goal for tomorrow is to do a little piecing before I sit and knit and applique!
Until next time....blessings.
