Gratitude is finished!

Well, at least the top, and my version -- I only did two plain borders, but I really like it! Thanks again Judy and Jeanne. I haven't figured out how I'm going to quilt it yet, but I hope to quilt it before Christmas. I have the binding made and probably have a backing big enough somewhere in the stash! Oh, and I pinned it to a quilt hanging on the wall, so it is not crooked -- just the way I pinned it! vbg

So that is what I did with my time today. Tomorrow I need to finish the applique block and get the borders on it.

Gratitudes:

1. Gratitude is finished and I like it -- that's a plus.

2. Steak for dinner tonight.

3. A whole day spent in the sewing room -- I needed this today.

4. No boxelder bugs crawling in the house today -- must have gotten a bit chilled last night!

Your Gratitude quilt looks great - and you did it so fast! All my rows are done, but I have not put it together yet. I like your colors - and the simple border.

Your quilt is great. I am impressed with how quickly you got it complete. I'm going to have to save this pattern for when I have some time to make one. I think my colors will probably be something like yours. :oD

Wow, it turned out wonderful! I love it!

By the way, I tried to reply to your email about the retreat and it came back to me. I didn't notice is was a no reply email. Anyway, no it wasn't the New Glarus retreat. It was a retreat just a group of friends do on our own in the fall.

I like your simple border almost better than the more complicated one. Certainly suits your scrappy version.

We had box elder bugs all over the "sewing room" at the retreat a couple weeks ago. I know they are harmless, but they sure got annoying by Sunday. Seems like a new one hopped somewhere on my body every other minute!

Your version of Gratitudes is wonderful. It's amazing how great this quilt looks once the blocks are sewn together.
