Making some progress

 So today I turned the two piles of strips into this:

A whole bunch of 2-patches!  Which then became this:

 

Forty-nine strips for the sashing, which then became this:

20 of 49 sashing sets.  I got tired, so hopefully the rest will be done tomorrow and then on to the cornerstones.

I have a ton of 2-patches leftover, so I'm thinking I'll sew them into 16 patch blocks for another homeless quilt, eventually.

Supposed to get some snow and some really, really cold weather the next few days.  Shouldn't be a problem to get to my daughter's on Christmas day though.
