Today I managed to finish all the blocks for the second broken dishes quilt, but I did not put them together. I'm bored with it since I just finished one! So, I put them into a container and started playing with tumbler blocks. These are cut on my Go! machine also. I pulled red fabrics and cut 70 red tumblers. Then pulled tan fabrics and started cutting tan tumblers. My back gave out, so tomorrow I'll cut more tan ones.
This is what it will look like eventually. Barely made a dent in the red fabrics! But, it's a start.
I spent a few hours with the plumber today. He had to replace a pump in the basement and he fixed a toilet that hasn't run right since I moved in. Pump alone is going to be $500, so just can't wait to see that bill! But, I prefer to have things work correctly, so no choice in getting it done.
