I managed to find a spot for the quilt ladder - it's in the dining area of my kitchen. I don't have any empty walls in the living room and this way I can still see it from my chair in the living room! Put Christmas quilts on it for now!
And, I spent time in the sewing studio today and got the borders on this quilt and have the binding made. Next time I'll piece the backing - which I managed to buy last week - and put it on the longarm -- which I have not used in more than a month, I think. Probably forget how to turn it on! Anyway, it felt good to work on something today. I'm also doing some knitting -- I have a kid's hat I'm working on -- it'll be a donated one. I started the Yowza shawl from Miss Babs yarn site too -- it is going very fast since it's just garter stitch mostly.
I want to finish the kid's hat before the end of the year because I want to start making adult size hats next year to be donated to the homeless of course. I'm also thinking I'll be working on using stash fabrics to make a few more homeless quilts next year -- but not under any pressure. I'll just keep them here until someone needs them.
If I remember, I'll keep track on the right side of my blog page of things I've finished next year.
Until next time...blessings.
