I finished the first plaid quilt today. Quilted it the other day and today I trimmed and made the binding and attached it by machine. I prefer to hand stitch bindings down, but for the quilts for the homeless, I think machine stitching them down will let them wear better. I bought fabric on sale to back this quilt -- it really was a nice fabric too - feels silky!
I also cut a few more plaids and added more to the design wall. I also loaded my pumpkin patch quilt onto the longarm -- I don't know when I'll get around to quilting it -- but eventually.
Tomorrow is another Applique Club day -- really looking forward to it.
