We, in Illinois, at least everyone I know, is quite happy to say that Blago has been impeached! He's outta there!
I hope this sends a message to all those other politicals that we will no longer tolerate that nonsense -- you all work for us -- get with the program.
And a side note: The reason he wasn't impeached earlier or even in his first term: He had the president of the Senate in his back pocket and he (the president of the Senate) blocked any kind of legislation that would go against Blago. Personally, I think he retired before he could be ousted also. Just my humble opinion, folks.
We are celebrating tonight!

It really amazed me how all the talk shows treated him like a celebrity! I saw a piece of the interview from the view, it was sickening how they were fawning over him.
It seems to be everywhere. CT has had its share of notorious politicians over the last 10 years. good riddance!
I don't know a lot about the guy, but for some reason I watched his final statement live on Fox News the other night. WOW. I couldn't believe they were describing his speech as "eloquent". In my opinion, it sounded like a lot of horse patooie. Well, you know what I mean, but I don't like a lot of swearing. LOL**
