And she's a beauty -- but boy do I have information overload. I need to go through the manual again, and watch the DVD and the practice, practice, practice. But right now I'm taking a break.
It'll be fun to see how much information I retained in the morning. Relatively easy to thread and wind the bobbin today, but we'll see tomorrow! vbg
Gratitudes:
My new baby arrived on time and Greg was wonderful setting her up and getting me started -- showing me everything.
Lots of helpful information in the manual and the dvd.
Easy dinner tonight because I'm tired.

You Lucky Gal. Have fun practicing and if you need something to practice on I've got plenty of tops here you can use. "vbg"
You will love it - but make sure you give yourself lots of practice time and don't be too hard on yourself when you aren't getting as good as you want as quickly as you want to. Unless you turn out to be one of the lucky people who were born to longarm and never struggle at all. That sure wasn't me!
Congrats on the new family member! And what a beauty she is! Can't wait to see all the projects you crank out on her!
Hugs
WOW! Congratulations! Have fun with you new baby. When you are a long arm pro can I come over and play?
how much fun you will be having! it's so nice that you have room for this wonderful quilt machine. I also wanted to say your blocks look great!
Wow! Do you have a name yet for him or her?
Welcome to the new baby *s*
Welcome to the world of long arm quilting! And what is the name of your new baby? You know we all name our long arms don't you?
Ohhh Joanne, you're going to have fun playing with that little beauty ...
*hugs*

Ooh la la, what a beauty. I am green!!
Wow, congratulations! What a machine!..have fun playing!
MY what a beauty!! I know you have been waiting for a long time for this and I have no doubt you will get right in the swing of things!
Oh enjoy! I"m drooling and totally jealous!
Congrats on the new baby.
My advice to all new mothers is the same:
1. Let housework go -- spending time with your new baby is much more important.
2. Relax -- nobody knows what they are doing when they bring their first baby home. Just jump in and enjoy.
3. Sleep when the baby sleeps. (OK, so this one doesn't translate so well....)
Can you feel my envy from there?
Enjoy!!!
I'm with dona if you need any tops I have plenty to practice on. I think I may be trying to create a backlog so I will have to break down and buy one someday. :o)
Oh wow you lucky girl! I know you will have many fun days ahead. Can't wait to see you show off your quilted quilts :c) ~Bonnie
How exciting! You're going to love it - with a little practice you'll be off and running. I'm getting used to my new Premier - getting used to the decreased throat space has been the most challenging but I'm just so happy to be able to fit a longarm in the space I have now that I'm thrilled. I loaded another quilt tonight and will be quilting tomorrow.
