Getting Things Done

 

This is an empty bin that until today held tons of 2-1/2" squares, a few two patches and a couple of four patches.  It has been pretty much full for years!  And today I emptied it.  I now have a ton of strips of 4 patches:

In the next few weeks, they will become more 16-patches:

And hopefully before the end of the year they will become a couple of homeless quilts.  I think there should be enough.  

Wednesday the new flooring is supposed to be laid.  I can hardly wait!  Then the monumental job of putting everything back where it belongs and back to where I can access my fabric and thread and patterns and machines!  I'm sure it will take awhile to get there, but I'm looking forward to going through everything and sorting it as I put it all away.
