Snow Day

 And, we got snow:

One of the pine trees in my backyard.  The snow was definitely wet and heavy.  It stopped for awhile, but is snowing again now.  The plow has been thru here and my plow guy has plowed out my drive too. Hopefully the snow now will not amount to anything.

I did manage to make it to the basement today and now have half the blocks pieced:

I'm not putting them up on the wall until I have all 80 pieced.  I have to take down the blocks for my Pumpkin Hill quilt to make room for these!

I have skylights in my living room and hall bathroom (I don't know why they put them in the bathroom, but what do I know!).  Anyway, there is quite a difference in light when they are covered with snow!  

I'm off to knit for awhile now.
