In the woods and there is no one around, does it make a sound? YES!
This happened about midnight Thursday night! I couldn't sleep, so was in my living room reading when I heard it go down. It is very hard to figure out where a sound is coming from in this house, or maybe it's just me, but I thought it came from the garage and I thought someone was trying to break-in - albeit quite noisily! Too afraid to open the garage door, which was locked anyway, so finally went to bed. Next morning I opened the drapes in the dining room and discovered the neighbor's tree down!
On Saturday, he helped me clean up the mess -- he used his chain saw and I cleaned up the branches on my side. It took quite a few branches off the pines and it bent over my little flowering crab. We managed to pull it back as straight as we could and I had to put rocks on the side that was pulled out of the ground, so I'm hoping it will be all right.
And that's the excitement from here! I've been reading a lot, not doing much sewing, and a bit of knitting.
My kids/grandkids have had covid and are recovering nicely - Will is back to school and the other two will be soon. I haven't seen any of them in almost 4 weeks, so I was not exposed, but been fighting a sinus infection - every time I think I'm over it, it starts up again -- which is really quite annoying. But I'm thankful we are all ok.

My neighbor's tree branch also fell, but it went the other way to the other neighbor's house. They were able to clean it up and I am glad you were unhurt and the damage was minor. I hope your kids and grandkids a full recovery from COVID and you recovery from your sinus infection.
