I don't seem to get much accomplished lately.
But I did finish a hat yesterday - that I started early 2020!
It was a cobblestone pattern found on Ravelry - free I think.
I have another pattern picked out to start soon - maybe today. I'm also working on my Be Simple scarf/shawl, a little more than 1/2 way finished.
And, I've been working on Pumpkin Hill, a Bunny Hill pattern in book form.
I have the first 4 blocks done and block 5 is prepped. I'm loving this quilt, because it is not a kit and I get to use my own fabrics. Kits are made with the whole line of fabric for each one, and most of the time, I don't care for the fabric! And I surely have plenty of fabric to choose from in my extensive stash!
Today I will be putting up Christmas -- which for me is changing out the quilts from fall to Christmas/winter. I am not bothering to put up a tree this year. Christmas day will be at my daughter's, and I'm at the point that putting up and taking down a tree is more work than it's worth anymore! Most of my Christmas shopping is done -- we just buy for the grandkids now. I still need to wrap everything of course. I prefer to think of Christmas as a great time to share the wealth -- make hats and quilts for the homeless or less fortunate. For me, it's what Christmas is all about - the birth of Jesus and giving as He would do.
Until next time....blessings.
