The blocks on the top are the Depression Blocks and I finished the rest today -- 30 in all. Don't know when I'll be able to put them together, but working a little every day works great. The blocks on the left are the "Twinkler" blocks I'm doing as another leader/ender project. This was a free pattern from a couple of years ago from www.claudiasquiltshoppe.com. They are just 6" in size and I have no idea how many I will end up with! I should probably plan better, but I usually just cut the squares and start piecing -- so it's always a surprise! vbg
Answer to Deb sews: www.quiltville.com is where you'll find the answer to leader/ender projects. Bonnie has tons of free patterns on her site as well.
Gratitudes:
Making progress on the Depression Blocks and I'm liking the Twinkler blocks as well.
Leftovers for dinner -- because I've been planning my menus ahead of time and planning for leftovers!
Seeing progress in the magazine reduction area -- I've filled one 3-inch binder and going to be starting on a second.

Thanks for showing your Depression blocks. I like them. What size are the HSTs?
The twinkler blocks are adorable. They will make an adorable quilt.
I like both of these sets of blocks. But those twinklers...... That's gonna be one very nice Christmassy quilt no matter what size it turns out to be.
Like your depression blocks and the twinklers which btw is a good name for the finished quilt. The little wall quilt is very nice as well. Great to have quilt buddies isn't it.
The depression blocks will look so fabulous put together. That "Twinkler" is really great! Whatever size you make it, it will be wonderful for the holidays.
Looking good!
My guild is doing the Depression blocks for a Block of the Month, so I've got to do two of them in the next two weeks... :) I love the way yours turned out.
What a keepsake. I really like this...
I need to get unsentimental about my magazines, I love the depression blocks. Are you counting the days until you get your new machine? I'm as excited as you are.....
Those 'twinklers' are too cute. It will be fun to turn them into a quilt.
Ooohhh - I like those Twinkler blocks - I am thinking just perfect for a table runner with matching napkins for the Christmas season next year!
Cheers!
Evelyn
