Did manage to finish machine quilting the Scrappy Pineapple Blossom today. Have the binding on, just need to stitch it down. Spent some time searching for the label I already printed out last month -- still can't find it -- know that I put it away someplace safe. Guess I'll have to clean out the fabric stash cabinet and see if it's stuck to something in there! Probably be a few days before I finish the binding anyway, but I can always make another label.

Great block! I can't believe that people hand piece those DJ blocks! It amazes me!

nice job on it! I can understand the appeal.
Very sweet block. I can send you a picture from a dear jane top from a friend from my quiltgroup ....
I remember this block, I think I just appliqued it. I am always looking for the easy way out.
I got the Dear Jane block this winter, but have yet to make a block! This one is sweet - and I see that you pieced it! Looks nice.
How did you quilt your Scrappy Pineapples? I am looking forward to seeing a finished photo -could you share the label too once it is done?
Cheers!

Love the Hunters Moon Joanne..great job on that one.
Your label..I remember it was about christmas time..and I remember it was really cool. You gave Quiltville pattern credit and I thought that was so nice...*VBS* Keep looking you'll find it!!
Yeahhh for anohter DJ block! I jsut love that quilt, but can't get past the perfection I had wanted. Now that I"m "maverick" maybe I'll try it again - but with a maverick twist!
Nice block.... Did you applique the ovals?
This is a beautiful block. You've done a wonderful job of piecing it and getting the curves really flat. :-)
Hi Joanne, I read your blog from beginning to end yesterday while I at my lunch at work. I feel like I know you nos! Love your log home - always thought I'd love to live in a log home. Your quilts are great. Looking forward to a long quilty internet friendship.
I appliqued this block too...I think I've made it twice. Good luck with your DJ, I don't think I'd have the patience to hand piece everything, although I'm thinking now I might try...
I've always wanted to make a DJ quilt. Seeing you start one just might inspire me :) Looking good!
